Comment: I studied at Mengo S.S.S and I have very good memories of Mengo Hospital as a child. I graduated in the UK and specialised as a clinical vascular scientist; Everytime I visit Uganda, I have continued to teach voluntarily radiology and ultrasound technology to so many young enthusiastic scientist.Long live Mengo Hospital and thank you Professor Kawooya for such a fantastic opportunity and to the students well done, see you soon

Comment: I was born in Mengo. My mother & I nearly died during the delivery- the doctor who saved our lives Dr Ivor Chance!
I am now an occupational health (OH) nurse and manage and teach an OH degree programme at a London University- all thanks to Dr Chance. The mother of one of my Ugandan students currently works at Mengo and sent me some photos. I am so grateful. I can show them to my mother who is now severely disabled. I hope it will bring back memories of her days in Uganda.

Comment: It is great to see a website up for Mengo Hospital on the web. I still believe it is an unsung pioneer of health care services to the underserved. I think chronicaling the works of the hospital and its medical superintendents over the years both in pictures and reports would not only lift image and performance but increase potential investor interest. I'd love to see the emblem, and images of the hospital and its outreach clinics posted on the home page.

Comment: I worked at Mengo as an MO from 1988-1990, and I had a great time there. I wasn't aware of this site and came across it via google. Its nice to see a picture of Albert Cook building entrance, it reminds me of the OR and Roy Billington ward, where I worked for the 2 years. Good job and would be good to add more pictures.
